Abby's Sweater - A Whole New Venture

I have never attempted to make clothing before.  Hats and scarfs and cowls yet but a whole sweater with arms and buttons seems like a stretch for me.  But it's going really well and I am proud of the progress that I have made so far.

Let me know if you just have to have one of these cause I can hook you up.  It will come in little girls sizes 12 month to 3T.  It's absolutely adorable.  If you think that you want to try and make one on your own the pattern can be found at www.mooglyblog.com. If you would rather pay for someone else to do it comment here or get me over at Etsy Shop AntiJolly and I can set you up with a custom purchase just for you!

If you head over to my Etsy shop look for the coupon code that I have up right now.  It would save you 25%!!! That is like FREE SHIPPING on most of my stuff.

Here is the bottom portion as it is being worked on:

Thanks for taking a look,

Blue Green & Yellow Stripe Hat with Matching Cowl

This has been my favorite cowl for a long time.  Anyone that knows me knows that I don't leave home without it when it's chilly outside.  I finally got to making a matching hat for it.  So much fun!

The pattern for the hat can be found here:  Pattern

Sorry there is no pattern for the cowl.  It was worked in a flat panel of double crochet stitches about a foot and a half long by two and a half feet wide.  When finished I stitched the two foot and a half sides together.

I used Vanna White Yarns by Lion Brand.  They have so many beautiful colors and they are so soft.

A Cowl, Some Wash Rags, and a Couple of Hats

A few more projects to share.

This is my favorite Cowl - I love the colors and it was super easy as I just double stitched until I like the size and randomly changed out the colors.

My son's hat.  This color combo is so in right now! The base pattern can be found Here.
I adjusted it by not using the special stitches

Made this hat for myself since I couldn't help myself when I saw this color yarn.  I will probably never find it again so I had to use it for myself.  I will have to make a matching cowl so I have a complete set. It uses the pattern above as well as a base.  I just had to make it bigger to fit an adult this one followed the special stitches.

And last for the day my wash cloths.  These are just done with a single stitch.  So easy and fast.

Crochet My Day Away AntiJolly Style

I have been on a huge kick of making crochet hats.  Here are the images of the many I have made so far.  If you feel like trying to make these on your own I will include the links below.  If you feel like you would like for me to do the grunt work email me or leave a comment and I am sure we can come up with something.  I do have an Etsy Shop here: AntiJolly Etsy Shop

A Little girl and her baby should always have matching hats - see pattern link below

One for every kid in the family - Infant, Toddler, and Young Child - see pattern link below

Used striped hat pattern below but made this one larger for my big dude.

Colorful Granny made from scraps - Made larger but followed Granny pattern below

For the baby next door - so soft infant hat - see link to pattern below

This one was off to New Mexico - Keeping the head of a dear friend warm - Variation of the Striped Hat and made larger for an adult.

Another Adult sized Granny Hat using the link here just made larger.

The pattern for the Granny Hat can be found here:  Rainbow Beanie
All of the other hats in this post are variations of the hat found here: Striped Crochet Hat

I have been having a blast experimenting and making changes to patterns to see what works for me and can't wait to see what I find next to work on.  With so many babies coming in the near future I am going to have to get more yarn.

Have a great night and thanks for reading.  Feel free to leave comments!
